Advisory Services for TIAA Participants
The Individual Participant Advice (IPA) program permits select advisors of MidWestOne Investment Services to offer advisory services to participants of retirement plans held directly at the plan's record keeper or custodian. This service allows a Midwest One Investment Services advisor to provide discretionary advice to participants of retirement plan accounts for a fee using the LPL Financial corporate RIA. These advisory services include ongoing investment advice and account management regarding the selection and monitoring of investment options that are made available to plan participants.
Midwest One Investment Services has an operational relationship with TIAA that allows select advisors to be authorized on employee retirement accounts at institutions such as the University of Iowa, Iowa State University and University of Northern Iowa. As independent advisors, the advisors of Midwest One Investment Services are not affiliated with TIAA or any institution.Your account stays with TIAA, and you authorize a MidWestOne Investment Services advisor to utilize their experience and background to manage the assets within your existing account.
