Team ApproachSubmitted by MidWestOne Investment Services on July 7th, 2017
I hope you enjoyed the Fourth of July extended weekend! My favorite part of the Fourth of July is walking in the Coralville parade with my coworkers. Throwing candy around and seeing friends line the streets is probably as close as I will get to performing in front of a big crowd. Unfortunately, I missed the parade this year for only the second time in my career at MidWestOne. It was for good reason though, as we were in Minneapolis watching my younger daughter compete in the USA Volleyball National tournament. ** Proud dad alert ** the attached picture is Ellie preparing to pass the ball in one of their matches Monday night. Sooooo, the most I can tell you about the recent weather is the fluorescent lights work well!!
Thank you for allowing my deviation from course J As we enter the second half of the year, foreign uncertainty, questions about Fed interest rate policy, what can President Trump accomplish, and when will the stock market bull die are some of the top questions lingering. Because there are no clear cut answers to those questions, nor are there clear cut consequences if the answers don’t fit our “correct” outcome, proper planning will play a vital role in your financial plan’s success. You are the star of your own volleyball team. We play multiple roles on your team. One role is to be the coach, helping to draw up appropriate strategies to put you on track for success. We also take on the role of the team players, doing as much of the behind the scenes work as possible to give you the best possible opportunity to enjoy stardom (retirement, family, whatever your definition is).
Again, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your team. It is our pleasure to help you reach your financial and personal goals!
